Through sophisticated tests performed in our state-of-the-art testing lab, FMI Chemical customizes high temperature jet engine silicone potting compounds to individual customer specifications. Our chemists create the process materials that allow original equipment manufacturers and overhaul and repair facilities to effectively produce and repair high-quality jet engine components.

FMI Chemical makes available customized products in customer-specified package types and sizes that would otherwise require months of lead time or significant added expense. We provide additional testing and services beyond what product manufacturers are willing to perform. This testing includes evaluating heat resistance, density, % non-volatile, durometer hardness, Tg, curing time, working life, elongation, young's modulus, tear strength, and tensile strength, and we perform testing for orders of all sizes. All services required for a customer are performed in our facility, which means short delivery times.
